Award winning actor, best-selling author, and advocate for science communication Alan Alda has a new blog called Clear + Vivid.  Best known as Hawkeye Pierce on M*A*S*H from 1972-1983, Alan Alda has redefined himself as an advocate for communication.  As the host of Scientific American Frontiers on PBS Alda had the opportunity to interview hundreds of scientists about their work and research.  In his latest project, Alda engages a variety of interesting guests in spirited conversation and communication.  All of the interviews should be on your list of required listening but one in particular will be very interesting to our patients with Parkinson’s Disease.  Alda, who has Parkinson’s himself, interviewed Michael J.
